About the Company
UBS SBI® Foreign AAA-BBB 1-5 ESG UCITS ETF CHF acc is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to replicate the performance of the SBI® ESG Foreign AAA-BBB 1-5 Total Return Index. This index tracks foreign bonds denominated in Swiss Francs, focusing on investment-grade securities rated AAA to BBB with maturities between 1 and 5 years, rigorously screened for strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria to promote sustainable investing. Managed by UBS ETF and domiciled in Luxembourg, the ETF employs a long-only strategy with physical replication, maintaining a fund size of approximately 528 million euros and a low total expense ratio of 0.20% per annum. Unlike its distributing counterpart, this accumulating share class reinvests dividends semi-annually, enhancing compounding effects for long-term holders while denominated in CHF without currency hedging. It plays a key role in fixed-income portfolios by offering exposure to high-quality, short-to-medium term international corporate and government bonds that align with ESG principles, appealing to investors prioritizing sustainability alongside credit stability and low duration risk in the global bond market. Inception dates trace back to around 2013, underscoring its established presence in sustainable fixed-income solutions.
