iShares MSCI EMU Paris-Aligned Climate UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the MSCI EMU Climate Paris Aligned Benchmark Select Index, focusing on companies from developed countries within the European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). Its primary purpose is to deliver returns reflecting the index through capital growth and income, while aligning with the Paris Agreement's climate goals by reducing exposure to transition and physical climate risks. The ETF employs full physical replication, holding 146 constituents with characteristics like a price-to-book ratio of 2.27x and price-to-earnings ratio of 19.35x, and it accumulates dividends for reinvestment. Notable for its sustainability features, it screens out companies involved in controversial activities and ESG controversies, achieving strong metrics such as an MSCI ESG Fund Rating of AA, ESG Quality Score of 8.26, weighted average carbon intensity of 48.61 tons CO2e/$M sales, and an implied temperature rise between 1.5°-2.0°C.
