About the Company
Amundi S&P World Materials Screened UCITS ETF Acc - EUR is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P Developed Ex-Korea LargeMidCap Sustainability Enhanced Materials Index. This physically replicated ETF provides exposure to large- and mid-cap companies in the materials sector from developed markets worldwide, excluding Korea, representing about 85% of available market capitalization in this segment. It incorporates rigorous ESG screening by excluding firms involved in tobacco, controversial weapons, civilian and military small arms, thermal coal, oil and gas (including Arctic and oil sands), and shale gas, while enhancing overall sustainability profiles, environmental targets, and reducing carbon footprints through selective reweighting. Key holdings include Linde plc, BHP Group Ltd., Air Liquide SA, Sherwin-Williams, and Newmont Corp, with the top 10 comprising around 47% of assets and geographical focus led by the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan. Launched in September 2022 and domiciled in Ireland, it features a low total expense ratio of 0.18%, accumulating dividends for reinvestment, and has grown to over 200 million euros in assets under management, serving as a targeted vehicle for sustainable materials sector investment in global portfolios.
