About the Company
Xtrackers II J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond UCITS ETF 1C EUR Hedged is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond index, focusing on USD-denominated bonds issued by governments and corporations in emerging markets. Its primary function is to offer investors diversified exposure to fixed-income securities from developing regions, providing potential higher yields compared to developed market bonds while mitigating currency risk through EUR hedging. This UCITS-compliant ETF employs a representative sampling methodology for replication, invests in fixed-rate sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt rated C or above by S&P with minimum maturities of three years, and follows an accumulating distribution policy where income is reinvested. Domiciled in Luxembourg and managed by Xtrackers, it features a total expense ratio of 0.40% p.a. and a fund size of approximately EUR 185 million, making it the largest and cheapest ETF in its category. In financial markets, it enables institutional and retail investors to enhance fixed-income portfolios with emerging market debt, aiding diversification and hedging against inflationary pressures in developed economies. Launched on May 6, 2008, it underscores the role of emerging markets in global economic dynamics.
