About the Company
Xtrackers FTSE Developed Europe ex UK Property UCITS ETF 1C is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Europe ex UK Capped index. It provides targeted exposure to listed real estate companies and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in developed European markets, excluding the United Kingdom, focusing on property holding, development, and related activities. The ETF employs a physical full replication strategy, holding all index constituents to mirror the performance of this benchmark, which emphasizes market capitalization weighting with caps to ensure diversification across various property types and geographies. As an accumulating fund, it reinvests dividends back into the portfolio rather than distributing them, supporting compounded growth within the net asset value. Domiciled in Ireland and launched in 2014, the fund offers investors a passive, cost-efficient way to access the European real estate sector outside the UK, with a portfolio comprising around 74 holdings predominantly in real estate. This ETF serves a niche role in the financial markets by delivering sector-specific equity exposure to continental Europe's property market dynamics, unhedged against currency fluctuations and denominated in euros.
