About the Company
iShares Global High Yield Corp Bond UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the Markit iBoxx Global Developed Markets Liquid High Yield Capped Index. It provides investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of high yield corporate bonds issued by companies in developed markets worldwide, primarily in US Dollar, Euro, British Pound Sterling, and Canadian Dollar denominations. These bonds, rated between BB+ and CCC (or equivalent), come from sectors including industrials, utilities, and financials, with a minimum maturity of 1.5 years, focusing on fixed-rate securities. Managed by BlackRock and domiciled in Ireland since its launch on November 13, 2012, the ETF employs a representative sampling methodology to replicate the index, distributing dividends semi-annually with a recent yield around 5.54%. Top holdings feature issuers like CCO Holdings LLC, TransDigm Inc., and Tenet Healthcare Corp, emphasizing liquid high yield opportunities. With an expense ratio of approximately 0.40-0.55%, it plays a key role in fixed income markets by offering global high yield bond access without pursuing ESG strategies, catering to those seeking higher income potential from sub-investment grade debt.
