The fund invests primarily in small-cap equity securities issued by companies domiciled in the United States, with a goal of achieving returns greater than the Bloomberg US 2500 Total Return Index over time. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities (principally common stocks) of Small and Mid-Cap Companies.
