Xtrackers MSCI Japan UCITS ETF 2D USD Hedged is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the MSCI Japan (USD Hedged) index, capturing the performance of large and mid-cap Japanese equities while hedging against USD currency fluctuations. Launched on 10 June 2013 and domiciled in Luxembourg, it employs full physical replication by holding all 183 index constituents, including top holdings like Toyota Motor Corp., Sony Group Corp., and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. With a total expense ratio of 0.40% p.a., it stands as the lowest-cost option in its category and distributes dividends annually to investors. The fund manages approximately EUR 117 million in assets, spanning key sectors such as industrials (23.78%), consumer discretionary (17.76%), financials (16.07%), and technology (13.84%), with nearly all exposure (99.92%) to Japan. Compliant with UCITS regulations, it provides investors targeted access to Japan's equity market, mitigating currency risk for USD-based exposure through structured hedging mechanisms.
