BNY Mellon Core Plus ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks high total return consistent with the preservation of capital. It invests principally in a diversified portfolio of fixed-income securities, including government bonds, corporate bonds issued by U.S. and non-U.S. corporations, mortgage-backed securities, and asset-backed securities. The fund primarily targets investment-grade bonds rated Baa3/BBB- or higher at purchase, but may allocate up to 25% of net assets to below investment-grade high yield bonds or unrated equivalents, as determined by its sub-adviser, Insight North America LLC. Portfolio construction relies on proprietary credit research emphasizing industry analysis and individual security selection, supplemented by external sources. With an average effective duration typically between three and eight years, it offers sensitivity to interest rate changes. The ETF may employ derivatives such as futures, options, and swaps for hedging, duration management, or enhancing returns.
