About the Company
The 3D Printing ETF is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide investment results corresponding to the performance of the Total 3D-Printing Index, before fees and expenses. This index tracks the price movements of stocks and depositary receipts of companies engaged in the 3D printing industry across the United States, non-U.S. developed markets, and Taiwan. The ETF focuses on firms involved in key business lines including 3D printing hardware, computer-aided design and simulation software, 3D printing centers, scanning and measurement technologies, and 3D printing materials. Managed by ARK Investment Management LLC, it employs a full physical replication method, normally investing at least 80% of its assets in index components or related securities. The fund distributes dividends and targets growth and value stocks across diversified market capitalizations in the global public equity markets, particularly within information technology sectors like software services and system software. Launched in 2016 and domiciled in the United States, The 3D Printing ETF offers investors targeted exposure to the evolving 3D printing sector and its innovative applications.
