About the Company
Ossiam Shiller Barclays CAPE US Sector Value TR UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund designed to capture value opportunities within the US equity market by employing a sector rotation strategy based on the Shiller Barclays CAPE US Sector Value Index. This index systematically selects four sectors from the S&P 500 each month, choosing those with the lowest relative CAPE (Cyclically Adjusted Price Earnings) ratios—a measure that compares current valuations to historical averages—excluding the sector with the weakest price trend over the preceding 12 months. Each of the chosen sectors receives equal weighting. The ETF utilizes synthetic replication via swap contracts, providing efficient index tracking without direct ownership of the underlying stocks. Dividends from the ETF’s investments are accumulated and reinvested, supporting capital growth. By focusing on undervalued sectors, the fund aims to benefit from mean reversion in sector performances, appealing to investors seeking a systematic value-based approach within US equities. Managed by Ossiam, the ETF maintains UCITS compliance, is domiciled in Luxembourg, and is recognized for its diversified, rule-based methodology that seeks to avoid concentration risk and enhance long-term risk-adjusted returns for its shareholders.
