About the Company
Invesco Semiconductors ETF is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that provides targeted exposure to U.S.-listed semiconductor companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Dynamic Semiconductor Intellidex Index, a rules-based benchmark that selects and weights semiconductor stocks using quantitative factors such as price momentum, earnings momentum, quality, management actions, and valuation. It generally allocates at least 90% of its assets to common stocks included in the index, focusing entirely on the information technology sector and specifically on the semiconductors and semiconductor equipment industry. The portfolio typically holds around 30–31 companies principally engaged in manufacturing semiconductors, spanning chip designers, equipment makers, and related suppliers. By applying a tier-weighting scheme instead of market-cap weighting, Invesco Semiconductors ETF reduces concentration in mega-cap names and distributes exposure more evenly across large and smaller growth-oriented firms in the semiconductor value chain. Launched in 2005 and domiciled in the United States, the fund serves investors seeking concentrated, factor-driven access to the semiconductor segment of the equity market.
